I cant express how happy my family and I are with the job that Mike and Scott and the Genstar Team did with our yard. Genstar had revamped the front of our house a couple of years ago and we loved it so much (and get so many compliments from passers by) that there was no question who we would call to help us with our yard. We have two big dogs that are part of our family but over time they killed all the grass. Scott and Mike came and helped us design the patio and the rest of the yard, and also helped us decide on pea gravel for the dogs. The finished yard is SPECTACULAR! I shed tears of joy when I saw it. Now we can have have the dogs outside and us humans get to enjoy it too! Scott and Mike are the ultimate professionals and so are their team, courteous, on time, hard working and they leave the place cleaner than when they arrived. I cannot praise or refer them enough! We used Genstar to put in a new patio and resurface our elevated cement deck. Everything went very smoothly. Scott and Mike listened to what we wanted to accomplish and provided a lot of suggestions to make it work. They worked out solutions for what we wanted and, if what we wanted didn’t make structural or aesthetic sense, they explained why and gave us options. They also suggested some things that we never thought that turned out great. They made the entire process go easy. They managed the sub contractors (who were all also good to work with), patiently showed us material options and made adjustments after the work started when needed. Scott, Mike and/or Tom were very often on site checking on things and were very accessible, which was comforting. On top of all that, the work they did was beautiful. Their workers like Alex had an attention to detail that we really appreciated. All-in-all we couldn’t be happier. We love our new backyard and we very much recommend Genstar.

I must say, working with Genstar was Absolutely perfect. We wanted our backyard to be more usable for our kids and for entertaining. We are not Artisitic people. We had no vision. Unfortunately we had a tremendous slope, and half the yard was not usable. Mike and Scott came over and had a vision we had not seen. Genstar took the time to explain the Comprehensive approach to their plan and it was greatly Appreciated. They walked us through each piece of material to be used and reviewed every level of options from stone to decking, lighting, and landscaping. They then laid out their Vision. Genstar leveled the whole yard and created an open area for Athletic play. They created a Seating area around a Fire Table which they designed, a Newly Designed Deck, Custom Fencing, enough Lighting to make the Nights look like Daytime. Landscaping completed their Vision. Their Crew of Guys were early every day. Clean is an understatement. The equipment they have is top of the line, with serious Earth Moving power. Mike and Scott were constantly onsite, double checking every measurement every day. They kept us updated as to the expectations of the next day, and then followed up confirming completion. We are 1000pct Satisfied and Appreciative. I’ve already referred Genstar to multiple others. I look forward to referring them again.

Genstar completely gutted my 60+ year old dilapidated yard and rebuilt it. Had several flooding issues due to the grading shifting over those 60+ years.
