Mike & Scott at Genstar are the best to work with. They just completed a second large job at my house which was done in 2 days. Their workers are skilled and work efficiently. My pavers, porch, stones on house, stepping stones and gravel all look sharp. They have added some extra details that weren’t included to both of my jobs just to make everything look even better. When I brought up a concern that I had, they were quick to assure me and they 100% took care of it. I would highly recommend these guys to any family and friends looking for masonry work in the area.

Mike and his team did an extraordinary job on the front entrance of our home. The guidance and professionalism was there from the beginning all the way to the end of our project. We had a bad experience with a previous contractor. Genstar removed all the bad pavers and redid the work. The difference is night and day. The crew was professional, the work top notch. They even did a few extra things that we did not ask them to. I'd definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Working with Mike and Scott was an easy experience. First off, they were transparent about EVERYTHING!  My phone had so many texts from them because they wrote down every detail, from start to finish.  They GC'd everything from electric work, to tree cuttings, to the grass and obviously the brick work itself. Their team, led by Mike, Scott and foreman Christian, were exceptional. They were here on time every day and cleaned up everything on a daily basis.  My neighbors kept coming to me to tell me they wished they had workmen like that for their home jobs.  Mike and Scott were incredibly patient with us as we made changes along the way. We were nervous at first, but Scott and Mike walked us through the process, answered all our questions, gave us ideas/recommendations, and listened to our concerns. They even power washed my front walkway that I have been dying to power wash (I didn't even ask them to) and the backyard is where I got the work done! Everything looks amazing. Genstar recently waterproofed the front porch walls and foundation, as well as the interior garage and boiler room of my mother’s home. They did an unbelievably efficient, thorough and professional job that resulted in all areas looking virtually brand new. Scott M. was on site and available at a moment’s notice and tended to every concern and detail that came up - both expected and unexpected. He and his crew, particularly his crew manager, Alex, were patient, thoughtful and kind to my mother and answered and addressed every question she and I had. On top of that, they did an amazing job on the waterproofing, demo and reinstall of the porch, garage and foundation areas at the cost they promised. We recently had a pool installed and worked with Genstar for the masonry. Scott, Mike and the forman, Christian couldn’t be easier to work with! Every person who worked here over the last week/month (because they started the whole job with the pool dig) has been respectful of our property, our home and kept everything clean all while wearing a smile! We live on a hill which had a narrow entry to the yard (also, modified by them!) and there was a ton of manual labor that went into this project and we could not be happier! We are already thinking of what project they can take on for us next year. Highly recommend if you are looking for a company that is true to their word, prompt and pulled no surprises! Scott, Mike, and the whole Genstar team was fabulous to work with. A friend of mine had used them for her new patio and driveway so I had seen some of the beautiful work they had done. We met with Scott a few times to go over what we wanted (there was a lot to be done). Everyone was easy to communicate with and there was no hassle setting up a time to have everything done. From the amount of trees/shrubs/debris that we had in our yard, to the terrible driveway and broken stoop, we knew this was going to be a big job and the team pulled it off flawlessly. I can’t express the amazing job that they did! Every aspect of the project was dealt with professionally and expediently. Everything was completed in three days!
